Here’s my story.

My career started with a dream of becoming a doctor. But life, as it often does, took me on a different adventure.

I ended up in law school, and from there, found my way into the world of journalism. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that life can be wonderfully unpredictable!

I graduated with a double degree in Law and Journalism in my beloved hometown, Melbourne, Australia. My journey into journalism kicked off at SBS, where I had the thrill of hosting live news and current affairs, and covering some big sports events.

While working on my Ph.D., I switched gears and became a lecturer, sharing my passion for journalism and communications with students at La Trobe University. Then came the gig of a lifetime as the executive producer of Insiders, Australia’s top-rated breakfast television program on the ABC.

On the side, I formed a theatre production company and wrote, directed and produced more than 20 plays.

In 2015, I ventured back to my roots in Turkey as a foreign correspondent. There, I found myself amidst two general elections, reported on numerous terrorist attacks, and even witnessed an attempted military coup.

My career then took a twist into the world of strategic communications. First, I joined a Fortune 500 company, dedicating my efforts to tackle one of the world’s most complex health issues. Later, I brought my expertise to a communications agency, collaborating with brands of all shapes and sizes to craft their stories and refine their strategies.

In the middle of it all, life gifted me with the arrival of my daughter during the COVID-19 pandemic, right in the heart of Melbourne, a city that earned the record for the world’s longest lockdown at a staggering 262 days.

Soon after, a new chapter began for my family as we embarked on an exciting journey to Dubai, UAE. There, I took on a role at TikTok, the world’s ultimate online hotspot.

Today, my adventure continues as I run my own coaching program and communications consultancy. I have the privilege of partnering with organisations worldwide, helping them bring their strategies to life.
